So I have been training for my first capital ship in hopes of participating in some of the massive battles around the universe. Ive been training for months (Not on this toon) and investing many PLEX's and iskies...
After reading this however, the time traveled I was willing to endure for such battles with only a 3 hour window a night to play, just blew my idea out of the water...
I was already looking at a 1 hour travel time with the individuals who were willing to take me via current jump bridges and star gates. Which would leave 2 hours for fleet time...
If the math I am reading is right, my 3 hour window of play time will not be sufficient. I guess I will once again scrap my plans and long term investment and go find something else to do in EVE once again.
PS: This is the 4th time a long term investment was nerfed because the DEVs try to fix something...I really hope this works and doesn't just cause more problems as I am paying for a game with long term goals that keep getting taken from me...

CCP... I am still unclear how this is going to "help" break up these massive & dug-in super blocks in nullsec. Wont they just redeploy their assets & industries to compensate for this new mechanic before you deploy this new patch?
If the above is true, in the end the only people you are hurting is the whole of your subscription base in an attempt to lay a blow to the big supers?

We still don't know what else they are going to do to null. But yes, this is exactly what has happened in the past when things have been done with specific intentions in mind. In this thread and the one in the information portal that precedes it you can find links to past dev blogs show as much.
It will be curious to see what happens to the below graphs after the patch.

I still don't get it, but meh, I'm just a paying sub playing a video game.
Another thing I don't get...again maybe I'm just a dumb ass... But you talked about new players less then 31 days old not being affected, what nullsec corp (outside of alts) takes a new pilot into their fold that's A: Less then 31 days & B: less then x number of skill points trained?
So at that point what does it matter that you put a 31 day stay of this mechanic for new players venturing into nullsec? Wouldn't this just encourage people to make alts all the damn time to run the jump bridged with out penalty?

Ok this post is just me being funny, but apparently in the future where we are so advanced and technologically evolved beyond death, two things still have yet to be invented.
Matter to energy transporters for people (Yeah I went there)
And 5 Jump Energy Drinks (5 hour energy)
